Built with care,
for a particular moment.
We began Suvarna Wealth because we noticed a gap: most financial education assumed youth, urgency, or prior knowledge. We wanted to offer something different.
Back to HomeOur Beginning
Suvarna Wealth was founded in Bangkok with a simple intention: to make personal finance education genuinely accessible to adults who are arriving at it later in life. "Suvarna" — a Sanskrit word for gold — carries the sense of something valuable that does not diminish with time. That felt like the right name for what we were building.
Our founders had spent years working in finance and adult education across Southeast Asia. They kept meeting the same person: someone in their forties or fifties who had built a meaningful life, raised children, built a career — and who felt, quietly, that they had somehow missed the moment to address their personal finances. The feeling was not ignorance. It was timing, circumstance, and a lack of materials that addressed them where they actually were.
So we built those materials. Suvarna Wealth opened its first course cohort in Bangkok in early 2022, and has grown steadily through word of mouth among people who appreciate its particular approach: calm, practical, and designed for adults who bring their full life experience into the room.
Our Mission
To provide honest, patient, and practically useful financial education to adults who are building a personal finance practice for the first time — at whatever age that beginning arrives.
Our Vision
A Thailand where adults of every age have access to financial education that treats their experience, their timing, and their questions with genuine respect.
Our Approach
Unhurried, judgment-free, and built around small cumulative practices rather than sweeping changes. We believe the pace of learning matters as much as the content itself.
The People Behind the Courses
A small, focused team with deep roots in financial planning and adult education.
Kasem Thiranart
Co-Founder & Lead Educator
A certified financial planner with sixteen years of practice across Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Kasem developed the curriculum framework and leads the full fifteen-week program. He is known for his particular gift for making complex ideas feel accessible and unhurried.
Pimchanok Lertsakul
Co-Founder & Program Director
With a background in adult education and curriculum design, Pimchanok shaped the structure and pacing of Suvarna's courses. She oversees course delivery and works directly with learners who have questions about which program suits their starting point.
Naree Wongthip
Senior Financial Educator
Naree brings twelve years of personal financial planning experience and a background teaching at a Bangkok university. She leads the foundation course and the savings and planning modules, and conducts individual mentor conversations for full program participants.
How We Maintain Quality
The standards we hold ourselves to, across every course and every conversation.
Qualified Educators Only
All Suvarna Wealth educators hold professional financial qualifications recognised in Thailand, alongside demonstrated experience teaching adult learners. We do not use generalist instructors.
Annual Curriculum Review
Course material is reviewed annually against current Thai financial regulations, fund options, and savings instruments. Learners receive updated materials when significant changes occur.
Privacy and Discretion
Financial conversations are personal. We maintain strict confidentiality for all learner information, and individual mentor sessions are conducted in complete privacy.
Learner Feedback Loops
We collect structured feedback at the end of every course and use it to improve pacing, examples, and delivery in the following cohort. Learners shape the quality of what we offer.
Small Cohort Sizes
We intentionally limit group session sizes so that every learner has access to the educator's attention and the space to ask questions at their own pace, without rushing.
Transparent About Scope
Our courses provide education, not advice. We are clear with learners about the distinction, and we never present course content as a substitute for individual professional financial guidance.
What We Believe
Suvarna Wealth operates from a straightforward conviction: financial literacy is not a young person's subject. Adults who arrive at their forties or fifties without a personal finance practice have not failed at something. They have lived full lives, and now they are ready to add this dimension to them. That readiness deserves a proper response — not condescension, not urgency, and not materials designed for someone twenty years younger.
Our courses are built around the financial landscape of Thailand specifically: the savings instruments available here, the contribution routines that work within Thai banking, the insurance considerations relevant to people building a late-starting plan in this country. General financial education has its place, but Suvarna Wealth's value is in the specificity — the practical, applied knowledge that learners in Bangkok and across Thailand can put to use in their actual financial lives.
We also believe that the relationship between an educator and an adult learner is a particular one. Adults bring judgment, experience, and often a fair amount of unspoken concern to a learning environment. Our educators are trained to receive that — to answer questions without making the questioner feel that they should already know the answer, and to maintain the kind of calm that makes honest financial reflection possible.
Personal financial planning, when approached in a measured and forward-facing way, is one of the more meaningful things a person can do for themselves and the people they care about. Suvarna Wealth exists to make that approach available to more people, at more stages of life, across Thailand.
